@Kitty47 open Fitbit mobile app, tap on sleep tile, tap on Settings icon in the top right corner (looks like gear cog). Check if there are any bedtimes, wakeup times or sleep reminders set. Clear them, then sync. If you don't have any presets, try uninstalling and reinstalling Fitbit app and rebooting your Versa (press and hold the left and bottom right buttons until Fitbit logo flashes).

Same here. Versa is great looking but with sleep tracking not working, 1/3 of my reasons for getting it is gone. Huge Fail. I also have the scale. I could connect it when I got it a few yrs ago but since getting a new router can't connect it even after spending a stupid amount of time trying. Very disappointed in how Fitbit releases products that seemingly arent tested AT ALL.

Time to sell it on eBay and switch to a new brand altogether

B.T. Dance - Perhaps it’s a problem with your device, but fwiw I bought mine just a week ago and it took several days just to figure out where to go for what information. I have at least average ability when it comes to gadgets, but have found the FB’s start-up guidance to inadequate in providing the big picture of the FB ecosystem. This is for anyone who is experiencing the frustration that I had when I turned the device on. The key is that the device is largely meaningless without the other components of the FB ecosystem, which is comprised of:
- the Versa itself, which collects data and provides instant info on things like time, steps and heart rate. In order to get anything more meaningful, the Versa has to sync with...
- the phone. One needs to set up and use the phone app to get any longitudinal information, including sleep tracking. The FB app has an icon (lower-left corner) for the Dashboard, which has a tile for sleep. It’s pretty cool, actually. Also, it stores and displays longitudinal data on heart rate while exercising, that kind of thing. And the third part of the ecosystem is...
- the web app on a computer. This seems to me to be mostly redundant with the personal information that’s on the phone’s dashboard, and I don’t think it’s necessary or adds much to the use of the Versa — except, of course, it has a bigger screen, a keyboard etc.
(FB, if you’re listening, I think it would be helpful to improve your startup guidance on this. I came within a day or two of returning the Versa device after randomly tapping and swiping the watch.)
