Inaccurate Heart Rate

Twice this week I have shoveled snow for 30+ minutes with no increase in heart rate. I also have to take 6 flights of stairs to register 1 flight. Anyone else have this problem?

Thanks it should work well with that.

Presumably you have shutdown the watch and restarted it?

A new firmware update was recently released which may have some issues.

If the problem continues and wasn't there before please inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.

My Versa2 and Versa3 both had/have this issue since I updated the software.

Nothing helped.

from a separate post:

Upgraded to Versa 3 at Xmas 2020.

Identical problems. Was so bad I took the Versa 3 back to store.

Went back to old Versa 2. When the software updated, experienced the same problems.

BP showing 30 to 40 below where it should be. Resting bpm all over the place.

Been working out for over three years, know what the numbers should be,

AND I DO know where and how to wear the watch, thank you.

Is there any way to restore the older software?

I called and they had me reset it. Still doesn’t work. Shoveled snow for one hour today and my heart rate didn’t increase. Wore it on other wrist, restarted it before I went out, nothing. I only have one green light on the back. How many should I have?

I have the same issue Nancy!  I’ve done cardio a few times and it starts out fine but then my Fitbit reads heart rate of 70 or 80 and I know that is not accurate because I can barely breathe.

Several of us with the same issues. Resets not working. Online help not helpful. Not isolated.

Is anyone at F**Bit working on this?
