Inaccurate step count?

Hi. I just received my Versa Lite yesterday. I woke up this morning & had zero steps (normal since I was sleeping), I rolled over & found that I had taken 77 steps. Umm... I hadn't even got out bed yet! Is there a sensitivity setting? If this is a constant inaccuracy, this fitbit is going back! Any ideas?

Did you go to bed after midnight or get up for something? Also the tracker is on the arm and may count steps through some arm motions. This is common for all arm based trackers.

No, I did not go to bed after midnight & I didn't get up for anything. It was weird. Said 0, rolled over, said 77. Thank you for the input!

So I noticed this as well. I just got mine for Christmas and I was assembling a toy sitting down and it was counting steps but I wasn’t moving 🤔
