Incorrect Outdoor Biking activity

My Fibit Versa dashboard suddenly shows Outdoor Biking for 17 minutes, but I did not have such activity.  Could you help me understand how that came about?  Did I inadvertently start it somehow?  And how can I delete such erroneous activities?  Thank you much.

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and sharing that your Fitbit Versa incorrectly recorded Outdoor Biking activity. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Our engineering team is investigating the issue. 

In the meantime, I suggest turning off or adjusting SmartTrack settings for the Outdoor Biking activity. For more information about adjusting SmartTrack settings, see How do I track exercise and activity with my Fitbit device?

 

You can delete this activity by following these steps: How do I edit or delete an exercise or activity in the Fitbit app?
