Any updates on how to fix this issue? I've tried everything suggested and nothing works. I literally spent almost 500 dollars (versa and airpods) for this feature ALONE.. Not even gonna lie. I'm a fatty and it helps tremendously when all I have to do is wear my watch and airpods. But. I can't. Did I miss a thread??

@Nylee Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well!
Let me help you with your AirPods inquiry. The Versa can't control the volume of the Apple AirPods. If there is any change in the future then I will gladly let you know about it.
I'll be around.

Return the fit bit. I wasted 300 dollars on this thing, and It cant even control music volume. If you look at the threads, you can see that this has been an ongoing issue for over a year now and fitbit doesn't care to fix it! Ill be advocating for the apple watch now.

Yes. Thank you, I am going to return it.. I should have done better research before getting all excited. And. An update to my particular situation, I actually got the volume to go down using the versa buttons, however, the volume almost immediately increased.. It got so loud it hurt my ears... And it's sad that fitbit isn't being proactive about this.

Sorry to say. fitbit returned... Since I don't have an iPhone. I went with the Samsung galaxy active. FLAWLESS set up. Airpods work great. Spotify works great. It's an awesome smart watch. Sorry fitbit!

The same thing happened to me with volume control. It seems as either Apple or fitbit is blocking the feature seeing as the volume can decrease, but then immediately increase again (which is actually very damaging for the ears, and caused great pain for me since I had the airpods in when this happened). On top of this Now when I look at the website to find the fitbit flyers, so I can utilize something that I know will work with the versa, and they are unavailable for sale. I reached out to fitbit about this, but they said the only blue tooth headphones that will absolutely work with the versa are the ones that are currently unavailable (so basically you’re SOL) this company is going down hill fast. Glad you found something that works for you.
