How does the interval timer work? I was expecting it to hear an audible alert 5 seconds before you move and 5 seconds before you stop but I'm not hearing anything. Are we expected to look at the watch to know when to start and stop?

The timer will vibrate the wrist. Unfortunately your Versa does not have the needed speaker to make a sound.
