I've just seen that Fitbit have launched an irregular heart beat monitor on certain trackers which is a brilliant idea. Especially for someone like myself with a prolific family history of heart attacks at a young age. I'm now mid 40s and this tends to be when things start to go wrong in my family. But apparently this service is only available in the USA which is terrible news. Is there plans to launch this service in the UK any time soon or even at all? It could be an opportunity to save many lives lost if not

1) This has existed on Sense and Charge 5 for quite a while, on-demand, in US; no idea if also in UK.
2) Recent news was of this being approved for continuous use, not just on-demand, perhaps just when at rest. But it has not actually been released yet, or announced when it will be; just approved. Again I have no idea if approval applies to UK also, or just US for now.

@Tommy751 This feature is currently being rolled out in the US only. This is a feature that needed FDA approval for release. I suspect that availability in other countries will need the same regulatory approval as the ECG app did.

Thanks for getting back to us and for sharing your Irregular Irregular Rhythm Notification availability @Tommy751 .
As @JohnnyRow and @LZeeW mentioned, this feature is being rolled out in the United States and there's need for approval in other countries. You can check the information here: Check for atrial fibrillation with Fitbit.
