Is Fitbit Connect not working for Versa 2?

I haven't used my Versa 2 in a while. I am trying to add music to the watch with my Mac laptop. I used to be able to add music through the Fitbit Connect app on my computer. When I tried to sign on to Fitbit Connect on my Mac it did not recognize my password. I deleted the app and redownloaded it. Now I can sign into Fitbit Connect without a problem, however, I need to resync it to my Versa 2....BUT...there is no Versa 2 option for syncing (only Aria, Alta, Flex, Surge, Charge, and Blaze). Did they drop Versa 2 from Fitbit connect? How can I use my Macbook laptop to connect with my watch? Is there a new app or am I just out of luck?

I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for the time you spent trying to get them resolved.

 

To set up your watch it will be necessary a mobile device. For the best experience, please use the Fitbit app for iPhones and iPads or Android phones. You can follow the next steps to set up your watch as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab Fitbit logo, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
