Hello all,
I am thinking about getting the Versa 2. I have a charge 2 now. Does the versa 2 have upgraded technology as far as tracking heart rate, stairs, calories burned, etc? Or is it the same technology that was used in the charge 2?
Thanks!

Just my opinion here:
The bigger difference is in features, as opposed to accuracy.
Heart rate - marginal improvements with each device but not major difference. However, heart rate improvements touted in a new OS due in a few weeks - no idea if will eventually make it to Charge 2.

Calories are based on heart rate so same applies to both.
Stairs - I don't pay attention to so couldn't say, but expect it's about the same. Note: stairs do not affect calorie burn or anything else - just stand-alone stat.

I had a FitBit back in May of this year, several in fact. Charge 3, Versa, Ionic, Inspire HR. I got incredibly annoyed with all of them and took them back because they were so inaccurate, mainly with steps, so switched to Samsung Galaxy watch which was very accurate. But I missed certain things about FitBit that Samsung just didn't offer - period logging, better app lay out, food logging is better on FitBit, better sleep tracking, Samsung has a very complicated lay out in general. So last Friday, I gave in and bought a Versa 2. I had decided to bite the bullet and put up with some inaccuracies in exchange for the other features I wanted.
Ok, it is only a couple of days but I have been pleasantly surprised at how accurate Versa 2 seems to be, compared to the other FitBit devices I had. I would go so far as to say it might be up there with Samsung. After wearing a smartwatch of some kind for a few years I can see at a glance that the FitBit is much more accurate than it seemed to be only 6 months ago. I'm happy to be home 🙂
