I don’t want to have to enter a passcode every time I need to look at something on my Versa 2. Is there any way to avoid this?

The passcode is only needed if you activate the wallet to use credit cards for payment through the fitbit. See this page for more information about Fitbit Pay and the passcode:  https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2236.htm?Highlight=passcode
