Is the Versa comfortable?

I am considering upgrading to either the Versa or the Charge 3. I currently have the Charge 2, and really like it! But I want something that can receive smartphone notifications, and the Versa and Charge 3 seem to do better at that than the Charge 2. (I like that I can receive texts on my C2, but I often can't see the entire text, and wish it didn't immediately disappear. From what I see online, both the Versa and Charge 3 shows the entire text, and you can go back to it until you dismiss it.)

My two main concerns regarding the Versa both have to do with its size - since the screen is so much larger, I am concerned I would accidentally bang my wrist into a doorway or dresser and scratch or break the screen. I know I would need a screen protector, and if I go with the Versa I'm considering one of the all around bumper cases, although I'm wondering if that would look a bit bulky.

Mostly I am concerned with the comfort of the Versa. I am used to always wearing a watch (or my Charge 2), but I'm wondering if it would be uncomfortable, being so big? When you bend your wrist back does the Versa rub against the back of your hand? I wish there was a way of actually trying one on and wearing it for a few minutes before purchasing, to see if it's comfortable.

I think the Charge 3 does everything I'm looking for, so I might end up going that route. But I do like the nicer screen, and the fact that the Versa has apps and more watch faces. It just looks more fun. 🙂

So I guess my question is, how comfortable is the Versa? If anyone has both the Versa and one of the smaller fitbits (alta, charge, or something similar) how does it compare in comfort? Thanks!

Update on my previous post. I love the after market leather band. It is very comfortable, as opposed to the rubbery black one that came with the Versa and the black and grey "fancy" looking one that I paid extra for that also came with my Versa package. The black and grey one looked fancy but was rough on my skin like sand paper! The screen protector did indeed save my screen from many scratches while doing lawn work; but I apparently hung it on something and drug it completely off. Will have to get another one, but worth the price to protect the screen so I can wear it at all times, even while doing lawn work. I also figured out how to turn off the screen wake function that kept turning on the screen when I was trying to wear it while sleeping. Seems like Fitbit could make it do that automatically, since it is supposed to know when you are sleeping. It is a bit annoying to have to manually turn that function off at night and back on in the day. I really just forget to turn it back on and have to double tap the screen all day every time I want to see what time it is, because raising your wrist to look at it doesn't display the screen (that is what you are turning off so it doesn't light up while sleeping and moving your arm, which was so bright it would wake me!).
