Issue with notifications since updated Fitbit app-Versa 2

Anyone else had issue since the last update.... My versa 2 will not receive any notification any more even the test call doesn't work. It was fine until the update. I've uninstall the app and reinstalled it but still it will not work.... The update before this one my period monitor stopped working and I had never had issue with it before that. It seems I don't have issues until I update the app..... I think moving forward I'm going to stop updating..... Any way we can download the version before this one?

To resolve issues with notifications, we recommend following these troubleshooting steps.

In addition, you can set up your Watch as a replacement device:

  1. Tap the Today tab, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

So I have done it all..... I have set up my Versa 2 as a new device.... Nothing changed...... So I have uninstalled and redownloaded the app now even more issues.... My phone has started to say about power consumption and its Fitbit causing the issue.... I've had to force stop it because it says its constantly looking for Bluetooth (even tho it is connected) I've never had this issue before,  then since doing the update but my battery on my phone was only lasting 2/3 of the day and then I was needing to charge it. This is ridiculous.... So I now have a Fitbit that I can not use correctly and it is draining my battery.... Please can you send a link to uninstall the software ony Versa  as this is the root cause of all the issues!!

I've had the same issue . Fitbit has told me the fact my fitbit is having issues directly after an update is a coincidence but alot of people seem to be experiencing the same coincidence .

It's sooo frustrating.... Nothing works at all now, it doesn't sync at all. No notifications are coming through I have to manually sync it once or twice a day now to have my information. The point I got this one was for the notifications I got small children so I dont wanna be on my phone all the time so it was nice to check my watch and see if it was important that I needed to get my phone... Now I've missed messages and phone call because nothing is coming through. Given up doing challenges because I don't get the encouraging messages when people over take..... I feel it is 100% the update!!

I feel it is very unfair for a company to suggest just buying a new one.... If they are saying it is a coincidence then let us uninstall the last update and we can see for ourselves, it had happened to me once before with Fitbit and I took the risk of getting another one.... If I do have to get a new one I can firmly say it won't be a Fitbit x

I've spoken again to support who seemed to agree its the update but they cant do anything and I should post fitbit twitter etc as they have more power. Its a shame they would behave in such a way.

Oh my gosh really!! It says something when they admit it but won't do anything about it..... I'm sure the last thing any company would want is to have 100s of issues put on the Internet!!

I imagine the person really wasn't meant to give me that advise.

I'm really disgusted by the number of people who have also experienced the same issue . Fitbit just take the stance as the devices are not in warranty it doesn't matter whether the update caused an issue they don't have to do anything about it. Disgusted .
