Issues with versa syncing

 Hi, so I've had my versa for almost two months now and it has been working great and I have loved the watch alot! But recently it just stopped syncing and will not connect to my phone via Bluetooth and I get no notifications as well. I have an Android phone and I did update to Android Oreo about a week and a half ago. My versa worked fine though and then all of a sudden 4 days ago it stopped syncing and disconnected from my phone. Could this be an issue with me updating my phone's software? I have tried updating the Fitbit app and such and that didn't work...dont know what other fixes I could try. Is anyone thats an Android user having problems?

Thank you!  I did a live chat with Fitbit support on Sunday and basically followed those same steps.  Mine is working right now too!  Just crossing my fingers it continues.

What phone are you using? Is it on the Supported Devices List? It sounds a bit as  if that may be the problem to me.

A Samsung  Galaxy sS7 edge I checked and it's on the supported device list...sigh..;

Update: I have tried upairing my versa and trying to set it up again and I'm getting the message that the Bluetooth isn't working. But my phone finds it intially. I have tried uninstalling the app as well and reinstalling it and that didn't work either...

I have the same phone with Oreo software as well and am having the exact same issue.  I would love to hear the what the Fitbit community service rep has to say about this.  I have had several different Fitbits in my time and was excited about the Versa but I am getting less excited now that it doesn't sync properly and no longer gives me notifications consistently.  Come on Fitbit, you can be better than this!

Update: my Versa is working again!!! Whoo!! Fitbit emailed me and gave me some troubleshooting steps and they worked like a charm:) firstly turn go to your Bluetooth settings and choose to forget your versa and then force stop the Fitbit app and then restart your phone and turn off your watch and then turn your watch back on once your phone has restarted and set up your versa in the app again( it's a fast setup since the update doesn't have to be downloaded) anyway hope this helps!! 🙂

Thanks for that. My versa stopped syncing on Friday. I have an S7 edge. Your resolution worked for me. Appreciate it. If this was an issue, like it looks like it was, maybe Fitbit should have posted something rather than wait for a whole lot f people to complain

How do you turn your watch off and on?

On your watch go to Settings > About > Shutdown.

what is the solution? I have the same issue getting the notification on my versa watch and also synchronizing it

And we Versa owners should not have to do this daily to get our trackers to sync! This is my 3rd and last FITBIT I will get.. Too **ahem** frustrating.. Only syncs when I spend an hour dicking around with it.

Love my Versa, but all of a sudden it stopped syncing to my IPhone 7+. Can you help me resolve this issue?
