Keep asking to update to install SpO2 clock face

I have tried to add the clock face Sp02 Signature to my Versa 2.  I keep getting a message that says "to install this clock, make sure the Fitbit app on your phone and your Fitbit device have the latest update."  It is all updated but still cannot download this clock face.  Does anyone have a remedy for this issue?

It finally resolved itself after about 24 hours. I think it just needs time
to find the unit on the web.

Hi @Anne1954 and @MeeShell1010. It's nice to see you here. @Itsnoudiii, welcome to the Community Forums.

@Anne1954 and @MeeShell1010, you're welcome and thanks to you for keeping me posted. I'm glad that you were able to get this resolved and I hope you crush many steps with your watches.

@Itsnoudiii, I'm sorry that you've had this experience with your Versa Lite. Because you've just received this watch, it might be that the latest firmware version 71.6.19 is still not available for your watch. This version will allow you to install clock faces and apps, as well to use other features. If this is the case, I'd recommend to allow the Fitbit app to run in the background so your watch can sync regularly and receive the update. Once you see the banner, try connecting your watch to your personal WiFi, complete the update and try installing the SpO2 Signature clock face one more time.

Hope to see you around more often.

Hi @LizzyFitbit

I'm having this exact same issue and I'm not being prompted to update. I even uninstalled and reinstalled the app. It's saying my Vera 2 is version 35.70.7.14 and the app is 3.41.2.

Welcome, @Skramsam. It's good to see a new face around.

Thanks for letting me know about your Versa 2. Just to confirm, may I know for how long you've had your watch? I'm asking this as if your watch was recently setup in your Fitbit account, you may need to wait a few days to receive the latest update which is 72.1.9 in order to use its features and apps. Please leave the Fitbit app running in the background on your phone. Once the update is ready, tap the banner displayed on the Fitbit app and plug your watch into the charging cable to complete the process via Wi-Fi.

Once your watch is updated, you can try installing a SpO2 clock face to track this data in the Health Metrics tile.

I got my Versa 2 this Thursday and received the update this morning, looks like it's a case of waiting for the update to be pushed to your device.

Was this resolved? It is a year later and I am having the same problem. Even the VOTE clock face says I need an update. My versa 2 says version 35.70.721  What exactly is the problem? I would think that after a year all of the bugs would be worked out.

I have 35.72.1.9 on my Versa 2 but I had to wait a couple of days before I got the update. If it's a new Versa 2 then you need to wait for the device to be activated on the Fitbit Servers.

Thanks. I've had it for a over a year, but stopped wearing it. Took it out
this month to monitor my heart.
I have version 35.70.721

Thanks. I did, there is no update available. I even uninstalled and
reinstalled the app on my phone. That did nothing.
