I noticed today my Fitbit versa 2 had little greenish clouds all over it in random spots. My son said it was LED burnout but I’m not sure what to do.

already tried a restart.

Watch is from December 2022. Less than 2 years old. Paid $250. A new Versa 4 is $260. Call centre forced me to factory restart my watch to fix the LED’s and now it won’t connect to Bluetooth to my phone anymore. After forcing me to do the factory reset, and breaking my watch further than just the screen issues, and me asking them to help me reconnect it to which they were unsuccessful in doing so, they offered me a 35% off coupon. Apple Watch: $328. Fitbit Versa 2 $250 replacement Versa 4 $260 - 35% = $169+$250=$419 for an inferior product to Apple Watch with no warranty and no IT support.

My suggestion: buy an Apple Watch because they back their products.

update: the 35% off coupon never came. The call centre staff hung up on me when the watch wouldn’t connect as a result of their process, and after arguing with me after I insisted that a factory reset wouldn’t fix LED issues and I just wanted to know if there was warranty, and him demanding that I don’t because it’s part of the troubleshooting steps, he had the audacity to say’ I told you it was optional to do the reset’ when I told him my Fitbit was now useless.
