My leaderboard app on my versa watch will not load. I have tried logging out of the app on my phone. Then restarting my phone, and finally restarting my Fitbit. I also checked all updates for my phone and Fitbit, everything is up to date.

Leaderboard was one of the main reasons I got this. Hope they fix it soon. It wasn't updating, I removed and reinstalled it, now stuck on loading.

Exactly the same problem for the last several days. I have tried, uninstalling, reinstalling, turning bluetooth off and on, rebooting Ionic, etc. etc.The app is obviously broken.

For info - I am using an Ionic and iphone 8. As stated by others, stuck on loading.

For what its worth. I'm so grateful for the forum...I thought I was going crazy...thanks for the validation that its the app, not me.

Unfortunately the support from Fitbit is that is not really their problem. They wanted me to reset my Fitbit back to factory settings with a mean I would lose all my data.

After being told to restart my device several times i was then told to do a factory RESET which I did, only to have the device not turn back on. The device was working fine just not the LEADERBOARD app!
They are sending me a replacement since they were the ones to tell me to RESET the device which i appreciate but I feel the support person did not listen to me when i kept telling her it the app not the device.

Sunset runner it doesnt allow me to click on your link as it tells me I am unauthorised to do so once clicked on.

I'm following the official support process but no luck yet and having the same problem. The answers from support are not even grammar or spell checked so not feeling hopeful that they understand the issue at this stage. There are enough people reporting this issue now but all saying the same thing. It's unresolved

Will keep you guys posted if progress (if any) I have already tried everything the support team have asked but need to follow the process I guess. I get a different person each time which is not ideal

I think I might just have to try a different product at this point. I have tried everything and it still is not working. For the amount that this thing costs, there should be a response from support in a timely manner, especially since they are getting all of my bio data for FREE.

Well I got an update from fitbit support today which finally acknowledges that there is an issue: "Thanks for getting back to us and for providing us the requested screenshot.
We’re aware of it and are working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track."
Hopefully this is true and not just a standard response so will have to wait and see what happens. Fingers crossed babies!

Hi,
Is anyone aware of a recent issue with the Leaderboard app on the Ionic please?
A few days ago I noticed that the app wasn't updating and, after trying a restart, decided to try reinstalling the app.
I deleted it from the Ionic, restrarted the Ionic and the iOS app and then reinstalled.
It installs but hangs on "Loading ... "
I've tried this routine a number of times - but no luck!
Any ideas please?

I've also been having this problem and tried all the same things. Mine is still loading as well. I hope someone gets it sorted and posted on here

For the past few days i have not been able to access the leaderboard app on my ionic.
When opening the app i see the following message:
LOADING...
Tip: Tap a friend to send them a cheer or a friendly taunt!
This screen does not change. I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the app. Shutting down the ionic. Logging out of the fitbit app on my phone.
Nothing works.
Please help.

I just got excited. I see that Fitbit has issued an update to the leaderboard app. However, after installing the update, and then after several attempts to remove the old app and install the new one, there is no improvement.

Don’t ever do that. I did, at their suggestion, and the tracker died never to be seen again! Fitbit, however, did replace it with a brand new one. Tracker only-but that was fine.
