When I get into one of the apps, I can’t get back out of it by pushing the left button. I have to restart it...so i can’t utilize the apps.

I appreciate the information that was shared in your post, also, your effort and patience troubleshooting this situation with our restart process prior to posting. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if this occurs with every app you have installed on your Versa? Also, after a restart process the button of your device works or the button is completely unresponsive? When was the first time you experienced this and this occurs every time you try to use your Fitbit device?
You may be able to remove dust or dirt by gently using a toothpick around the button. If this does not improve the button performance, you can try to clear debris using canned air. Hold the tracker at arm's length and spray once to loosen any dirt or dust that may have accumulated around the button. Please let me know how it goes.
