Hi 🙂 I am the otherwise happy owner of a fitbit versa rosegold. However, after about 6 months, the left hand button started giving me trouble. When pushed, the watch didn't react straight away, and the notifications wouldn't come on the screen when swiping downwards. I tried restarting the watch, and making sure it was charged and synchronised etc, but it didn't make a difference. I went to the shop, where I bought it, and he could see straight away, that the button didn't work, and swapped my watch for a brand new one - same model - off the shelf. Now, that's two months ago, and my new one has started doing the same again. Has anyone else had same problems or have I just been very unlucky to get a "monday model" twice in a row? I went to the shop yesterday and he offered me a new one again, but I am just curious as to whether this is a generic problem, and whether I should upgrade, if possible to the Versa2 when that comes out, instead? Opinions, thoughts?

I've seen a few posts with button issues but not so many that I'd suspect a generic fault. Certainly, my Versa (and now Versa 2) have not had any issues but perhaps I'm just the lucky one.

In terms of an upgrade then you won't be able to do this via fitbit as they don't offer an upgrade programme. Usually, if a tracker has a defect within warranty they will offer a like-for-like replacement but they can also offer a discount towards a new tracker.
