Hey guys,
I've looked up for a while for ways to negate the false steps logged while driving, which does still baffle me with such an expensive piece of kit!
So I've come across a few ways, one was a drive bit app which seems to no longer exist, the other is to not wear it (which still resulted in false steps), another was to put it on charge which doesn't work with my car layout.
The last was to log driving as an activity so it negates the steps and calories. Though it makes me type in the number of calories burned while driving, does this mean additional calories to what it's already incorrectly tracked? So if I put in say 40 which is a complete guess, would that reduce the calories burnt to only add 40 or will it add 40 onto the already incorrect figure?
Also the forums said adding driving would negate the steps, but looking in the activity section it actually kept the steps its incorrectly tracked, I have a screenshot to show this.
How can I deal with this?
Thanks,

Hi @JMarc96 , a warm welcome to the Community! I apologize for the delayed response. Thank you for the information provided.
Thank you for taking the time on your research how to wear or use the Versa while driving.
Regarding your question of the calories asked. They are optional. If you decide to input the calories burned, this will override the burned calories recorded during the time period you gave in.
E.g. if the watch registered that you burned 100 cal between 1-2 pm and then you log the Driving activity and put 60 cal, you'll be shown that during 1-2 pm you burned only 60 cal.
the best way to input driving as an activity and negate the steps is over your Online Dashboard (fitbit.com) . I've done that and my steps where negated.
Please let me know if you need more assistance
