The watch even though it appears to be logging in OZ is actually logging your water as ML. So the app converts your 8 as ML. 8ml = 0.27oz, I'm guessing it rounds up to 0.3.
I have a similar problem in with weight, the watch displays pounds, says " 200lbs logged at 12:00pm" but then the app treats it as if I entered KG. So I always weight about 440lbs lol.
I'm guessing these are bugs that have not yet been fixed, support has not been able to solve this for me yet.
The advice they did give me was:
Using the Fitbit website, goto your profile (https://www.fitbit.com/settings/profile) and change all your units to a different measurement.
Save these settings, restart your devices and sync your watch.
Then go back, and switch those settings to your preferred.
Save these settings, restart your devices and sync your watch.
And see if that solves it.
This did not work for me and I don't suspect it will work for anyone, as these seem to be bugs in the watches software, in my opinion. I could be wrong.
In you enter 236 into the watch, it will change to 8 ounces in both the watch and app.
The only temporary solution is to enter your water in milliliters and let the watch convert them to ounces. The same issue appears when logging in weight.
236 = 8 ounces
472 = 16 ounces
its not not perfect because I still have to edit in the app. The rounding of numbers is off. At the end of the day, The app lists 63.9 ounces, even though the entries add up to 64.
Also, it takes a while to sync.
Other issue is that sleep never resisters in the watch until I sync to the app. This is an issue because I have to borrow someone’s iPad each time. I bought watch because the Fitbit website says you only need a app for the install.....
