Losing data when watch resets at midnight

OK.. so first - I don't have a cell phone (don't judge LOL)  Anyway.. I have to sync my watch to the app on my laptop, which I can't keep the watch connected to 24/7 - like I could with a phone.  I sync to the app, before I go to bed, around 9-10, each night.  I understand the watch resets counting steps and such, at midnight... but when I sync again, in the morning, I'm not getting any sleep details, or steps from between the sync, the night before, and midnight.... the watch isn't saving ANYTHING from the previous day, once it resets at midnight.

Hi @StephGorgas Mmm that is odd. Have you tried restarting the Versa several times? If not, do that and see if that fixes it.  If it doesnt, come back here.

It sounds like the tracker isn't syncing in the morning @StephGorgas you can go to your device list and see when Fitbit says the last sync was.

It's syncing... it just wasn't saving the previous days data... so what I did between the 10pm sync, and midnight was being lost, when it reset at midnight.  But, NellyG's solution worked.  When I synced it just now, it added the little bit of data from last night, before midnight, to yesterday, as well as what happened after midnight to today.  Thanks!

Mine didn't recover the data. I hit my goal of 10k steps before midnight but did not sync it and when I go on my fitbit app it says I only did 8k.

Try restarting it, and syncing it again.
