Has anyone had an issue with getting logged out of your account to find you can't log in?  I had this happen to me.  Now a friend had it happen to her yesterday.  When trying to contact Fitbit help, you can't because you can't log into your account to get to the help page.  My friend is trying to work with them through Twitter and they said they can't locate her account.  Like me, she's had an account and a fitbit for over 5 years.  I'm not sure if our account has gotten hacked or if there is an issue with Fitbit themselves

Good Morning, this same thing has happened to me as of yesterday 9/17/2019. When the app crashed, I uninstalled and reinstalled it. When I went to log back in, it was telling me my user name or password was incorrect. I knew the email/user name was right and figured I forgot what my password was. Tried the forgot password link and never did receive the emails. Started a chat with customer support last night and they couldn't find me via that email. I gave them two other options even though I knew it wasn't right. All that CS person could do was pass my information on. I tried to create a new account thinking it wouldn't let me b/c my gmail address already existed. Lo and behold it created a new account for me, which I have now gone in and deleted. It appears I'm going to end up losing all history/friends/etc.

They should be able to reset your email address so you don't lose everything. Stay on them, they can do re-establish your old account. I know two people this has happened to and they can do it.
