My watch randomly shows incorrect data, usually an incorrect step count. This has happened 3 or 4 times over the last few months. Normally this error seems to fix itself but last time my watch was displaying over 37,000 steps when I’d only done just over 16,000. On this occasion the step count synced to my phone and I am unable to remove them as there is no data for this activity. On a few occasions this problem has coincided with a sudden battery drain from over 90% to less than 10% in a few hours. My warranty runs out at the end of the month and I’m unsure if I should return it to the retailer for replacement? Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, restart yout Versa 4-6 times in row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see the Fitbit logo and release the buttons.

@Jesscat Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to follow up on the accuracy issues that your Fitbit Versa is experiencing. By the way, thank you for trying the restart process before contacting our forums.
Please perform a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the "Settings" app, then select "About", Factory Reset" or "Clear User Data". Before doing this, make sure to sync your Versa in order to avoid losing current data. Finally, monitor your tracker and see if the issue gets fixed.
As a side note, I'd like to know if you log activities manually.
Thank you for your help @SunsetRunner!
Keep me posted! 😀

i have 3. Two as gifts for grown daughter and one is mine used a month. Have not gifted the two still in box. VERSA IS CRAP ... I have had 1 and 2 and ALL sync, are accurate in step, i can see the route i took and so much more ... i have spend many many many hours on line, resetting, phone app drop reload, and reading this forum. ENOUGH ... I will not give the two and they are going back. $600 waste and that is only product cost. My time is more expensive. I sit here not dropping AGAIN today my bluetooth and try to sync before again factory resetting. All other fitbit products sync when near a phone, are very accurate in tracking distance and speed. This morning I walked my 7 miles course with my Wahoo, Garmin, Strave active on phone and then the crap VERSA ... Versa recorded 4.1 miles of 7 and a 20 mile and hour pace and the other 3 products recorded within .1 mile same to each other 7 miles. RIGHT NOW I am trying to sync, bluetooth diabled over and over ... ... NOPE NO success. Going to run tomorrow with my FitBit 2 ... and pulling our my Garmin run watch - tomorrow these go back! ! ! ... SUpport is crap and my issues are consistent with everone else. Will say for the past 4 years I have had no issue with the other fitbit products nor has anyone i give them too.Has been a favorite gift product for me.

AUGH ... last sync was 1:55 a.m. It is now 8:41 PM ... more times I try to sync the more irritated I get. Reading all of this set and reset and justifying that failed product vs recognizing design quality issues and recall these $200 things. Won't get more. WIll replace with Samsung or the newer Garmin
