Message / Call Notification stops working after two hours. Comes back randomly.

Hi, my new Versa seems to lose Message and Call sync randomly after a few hours after restart.

When I boot up Versa notifications are syncing correctly. But after two-ish hours of up-time Versa stops syncing Messages and Calls. Randomly during the day the missing Messages do get through (all of them since last sync, Versa is vibrating for ages). Afterwards, it seems to lose sync again.

Currently, my work-around it to shut down and restart Versa twice a day. But hey, this can't be it!!

Bluetooth connection is shown as on and syncing Versa back to FitBit app works normally, so there is a connection. Also, I've reset Versa to factory settings (three times) and completely removed all things Fitbit from my phone. Won't help - issue still occurs after reinstallation of Versa. All notification types are affected (Calls, Text Messages, Apps). My phone is using iOS.

Anyone else had this issue? Got a solution? Or is mine simply broken...

Thanks for the feedback. It did help me reach a decision. Tried the mentioned steps in the blog for a last time. Before, I've tried all tips I found in other posts and tried what the official FitBit steps tell me to. Yet, still no change in behavour. So I did the only sensible option left: I returned the Versa back to the store while I still could. Just got back and, well, they took it without discussion or further questions. Seems they had the issue before - and not just once... Bit sad. I found Versa promising. Yet as I've already given my excellent Pebble 2 HR to my Dad, I'll go back to my other Pebble (Time Round) and stick with it until it dies..

Quick addition. When I posted my original message some five hours ago, Versa was receiving Notifications ok.

Sometime in between it stopped receiving. Just now I got *one* Message notification to Versa about a new email. But just the latest one! In between I received several more messages (in iMessage, WA, eMail, Threema and a phone call) but nothing came through to Versa. Where did those other Notifications go...?

Like I said before, syncing FROM Versa to the phone works ok. But Phone TO Versa? Not so much. I can see no pattern why and when the Notifications stop - or randomly return for brief periods.

This is reaaaally annoying...

Any hint appreciated.

(Why again did I switch from Pebble 2 to Versa?)

My Versa completely stopped sending me notifications this week. I've had my Versa for 6 months and it just suddenly stopped notifying me of anything.

I tried all the tips in this blog and nothing worked.

I contacted customer support and they had me restarting and updating everything for an hour and still nothing worked. Then they told me that was all the solutions they knew of and there's nothing they can do. I asked them for a replacement because of this defect. Their warranty states they will repair or replace any defects within 1 year of purchase. The customer service rep tells me they won't replace my Versa because it doesn't guarantee it will fix the problem. He said hopefully they will find a fix one day then says "I hope you can be patient".

I don't know what to do. I just want my Versa to do what it says it will do.

TL;DR Fitbit won't repair or replace our Versa
