Missing Exercise Data

I have a Versa 3 that has worked perfectly fine for the last 2.5 years.

I just returned from a run this evening and after syncing I went to check the stats only to find all of it missing and it just shows the exercise type & duration now.

I checked previous runs and all info was there up until about two weeks ago, after some messing around now even the previous ones have disappeared.

The data used to show a GPS tracked map, splits and times etc, now there's nothing.

I have tried stuff mentioned in previous threads like, rebooting phone, redownload app, turn off/on Bluetooth but to no avail.

There's also no dashboard available online to check anymore.

Can anyone advise?

FYI, Fitbit support got back to me with the below:

Hello Mark,
We hope you're doing great!
We have coordinated your case with our higher team, and they have confirmed that the issue with the exercise data is an ongoing issue with the Fitbit app.
Our team is aware of it and is working to identify a resolution as quickly as possible.
We're sorry for any trouble. We appreciate your patience and look forward to getting you back on track.

I looked at mine for the first time in a while, and when I click on prior Months, missing days return in front of my eyes. One of the recent app updates must have solved it.

Hi, all. Just so that everyone is aware, Fitbit Support has acknowledged that this issue is ongoing but they are working on a solution.

I swim for 40 minutes today (between 8:10 - 8:50am). But the app didn't record it. The activities before and after the swim were recorded. I had turned my phone off and on. Nothing has changed. Please see the screenshot below

Has anyone tried lately? Here is pictures of mine. First pic is pulling up an old date that had mostly everything missing. Second pic is after a few seconds when data reappears. before.jpgafter.jpg

Yes, they fixed it?  Its gonna be hard to check if all was restored. There is a lot more than there was.

It's definitely improved but I still have missing exercise data. It tends to be a particular day of the week (e.g. every Thursday for December). The best way to see if it's been fixed would be to compare with exercise data in Health Connect. I'm planning to do that but haven't had time to, yet.

Nop. My swimming is missing again today. Yesterday(Monday)'s and Saturday's were recorded. I don't swim on Sunday.

So my actual exercise history seems to be back, but now I noticed most of my cardio fitness score history is missing.

I’ve been having this issue ever since Google took over Fitbit. The App is now almost useless. The data I used to have, and have been using to monitor my fitness since I first got a Fitbit in 2016, is now so full of gaps its useless. From 20 Dec 2024 to 3 February 2025, I have no exercise showing. Even last week, when I exercised everyday, Sunday 9 Feb is missing.

If the App is not returned to the full working version that I had a couple of years ago, I will never get another Fitbit. I was only the historical data which kept me loyal to Fitbit.

I've just switched to Garmin. It was free reward from an employer provided app too, so winner winner

Not sure the accuracy is great on the fitbit. And always scared to update the app as likely to cause problems. Rediculious for such a good brand to feel this way.
