Missing Exercise Data

I have a Versa 3 that has worked perfectly fine for the last 2.5 years.

I just returned from a run this evening and after syncing I went to check the stats only to find all of it missing and it just shows the exercise type & duration now.

I checked previous runs and all info was there up until about two weeks ago, after some messing around now even the previous ones have disappeared.

The data used to show a GPS tracked map, splits and times etc, now there's nothing.

I have tried stuff mentioned in previous threads like, rebooting phone, redownload app, turn off/on Bluetooth but to no avail.

There's also no dashboard available online to check anymore.

Can anyone advise?

I’d also like recommendations, I can’t afford an apple watch at the moment but also can’t carry on with a watch that doesn’t serve its main purpose. I used to love my fitbit as it was affordable and worked great but this issue and lack of acknowledgment makes no sense to me.

Hi,
It's my second post on this topic...
Want to say that every time I check my exercise history on the fitbit app it displays less and less days exercised. For September I can see the exercise days dissapear one by one - and it's always in the middle of the month. My first and last weeks of each month show exercise and the middle is always blank.
In the weekly progress report emails, it used to say how many days were exercised that week - it stopped showing that info at the same time that the desktop dashboard was discontinued in July.
Wish we could at least get the desktop dashboard back, as the exercise info was always accurate there.

Coming up to a month of ignoring the issue, now.

This is not how you tell customers that you value them.

I don’t want to get too excited but my info was logged today. Hallelujah.

The real test is whether it’s still there tomorrow and all tomorrow’s activities are recorded. My fingers will be crossed.

Mine is working! I can see old workouts. Finally! Hope this nightmare has ended.

Mine is finally working too! And all my old exercise has appeared. Yay 🎉

Mine is still messed up. This Month shows exercise every day but every Month before that is messed up. Before, June showed 0 days. Now it shows 1. I pretty much did something every day.

This week's exercise is recorded but going back a few months it's still inaccurate. It shows me taking off a full week from walking and recording my walks and that simply did not happen. I average 12,500 steps a day and a good portion of that is a 3+ mile walk on an indoor track 5x a week.

BUT . . . at least this week is showing as it should. So happy about that.

When I posted a few hours ago, every day this Month had exercise data, Just looked again now and 14 days have been removed.

This is the stuff that drives me nuts. The inconsistency.

Hi everyone. Thanks for bringing this to my attention and for the troubleshooting steps you've tried. I understand your concerns and how you must be feeling.

Please note that we were having issues with the workouts missing from the Fitbit app. However, I'd like to share with you that this issue has been fixed.

If you're still having issues, please try to force quit the app and turn your phone off and on again.

I just did a 30 Minute echelon bike ride and it doesn't show up. Tried force quitting, uninstall/reinstall etc.

Issue has not been fixed.

This is BEYOND frustrating at this point....

I don't think this is the "best answer" as most of us are still having issues. Last night I posted a screenshot of what my previous months of workouts look like. They are all clumped together at the beginning of the month. This is not a fix. Please let the software engineers know that the problem isn't resolved. How many of them actually use Fitbit and have used it consistently for years? Perhaps you need to troubleshoot with actual longtime users. Thanks in advance for letting them know that the problems remain.

@MarreFitbit that did nothing for me. Still missing the 15 days from this month that vanished less than 24 hours ago.

------

@Meggs12 odd. Mine all show up at first. Mist of them are disappearing later. Like 15 days worth than vanished for this Month within 4 hours yesterday. So far I gave 8 exercise sessions that haven't been deleted yet this week. Most of last week is gone already.

@LeeAnnArizona19 agree. How is this marked solved, when NO ONE has reported it fixed?

The issue seemed sorted for me last week then on Monday it was fine, showed my walks till after about 6pm, it then stopped registering any work outs. I reinstalled the app and now I can see nothing at all again!

Just chatted with support again. They are still saying it's a bug and data will be restored. And it's NOT resolved.

This issue has not been resolved - considering this product is for fitness tracking and the issue has been going, for me, for 4+ weeks shows how poor the interest is to fix this bug.  My issues started exactly on Sept 1 where all started execises will not show up on my exercise days.  The data is being stored under Active Minutes, Steps, Energy Burned and Heartrate for the time during the exercise, but the exercise profile is not showing, which is the most important.  My details:  Blaze, App Version 4.26.1 (updated several times since Sept 1.), Start my exercise tracking using the Exercise Shortcut on my Blaze for Spinning or Treadmill.  Since Sept 18 only Auto Recognized Exercises will record, i.e. on my Treadmill workout, it will not record my started Treadmill Exercise from my Blaze, but it will auto recognize that workout as Run.

To be polite, you've introduced a major bug/defect in recent updates due to clearly poor QA testing and verification.  Then rather than back out the changes that caused the bug your engineers are struggling to fix the issue and dragging out the poor experience for your customers, in a business that is supposed to provide "Fitness Tracking".  Can you see why your customers are not accepting these poor answers?  If you expect us to get tired in order to upgrade to a newer device the reality is you'll lose us as there are many other less expensive and more functional options.

You should be posting regular updates here on what your plan is to fix this and when it is expected to be delivered, not just scripts with no content.

Has it really been fixed?
