I have been unable to sync my phone with the app since my new Versa 2 did an update a few days ago so I have been monitoring my steps by using the watch only. I am part of a stepbet and to ensure I made my day I had over 7400 steps and I verified that visually last night but today when I finally got my desktop version of Fitbit to sync, it says that I only had 7320 yesterday, thus kicking me out of my StepBet competition and costing me my entry fee. That 7320 is wrong. How do we get this fixed?!

Hi @MJaccard76 Oh that is sad. Unfortunately the steps may not be retreivable, but try restarting your Versa 2 several times and then uninstall the app on your phone and tjen reinstall it and log back in and they may reappear. For the syncing issue try THIS Help Article on syncing problems.

I have been trying to sort this out since April. Numerous e mails and tried everything. Eventually the sent me a new one out and it is still happening. Yesterday it list 4000 steps. It constantly tells me to leave the app open and it is open. I have got to the stage that when Currys opens again I am taking it back and will get a different smart watch as so frustrated now. I have used fit bit for years and never had a problem but something not right.

It IS frustrating because this is the replacement Versa 2 I just got last week. I've had Fitbit for years but the issues are making me think it may be time to change. 😞

Did they send you a replacements as well, I only bought mine a week before the lockdown so it is still under warranty. When you contact the help centre they act as if they haven’t come across this problem before. There is obviously a major clitch somewhere😡
