Moisture in sensor causing multiple malfunctions

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I have a single dot of moisture visible in the sensor on my versa 2. It has been there for 24 hours and in that time my watch has been awful.

1) Scrolling through the screen options on its own, without contact. Even when I have just put them screen to sleep.

2) Ending workouts immediately after I start them.

3) Hanging up on my phone calls before I get a chance to answer.

4) Responding "no" to all incoming messages.

As per usual I am unable to actually message or talk with someone who could help me fix this properly because Fitbit relies on us just fixing it ourselves. Can anybody help?

A watch with water in will not work properly. You are lucky it will do anything.

If its under warranty get it replaced, so you can have reliable watch.

if not, you can try leaving it a few days in a warm place to dry, on its button side.

When the condensation is no longer visible try charging it, not before

You may need to start it again

It may work but could be very unreliable - most certainly its lost it waterproof seal, so don't get it wet again.

They don't like saunas or hot water

See how it goes.
