More steps=more calories?

Hi! I wonder if the versa 2 increases the amount of burned calories on just the amount of steps taken, even if the heart rate is unchanged?

I ask as I have noticed after a ride on my motorcycle, the amount of steps taken has increased a lot, and so has the calories, when my heart rate has been fairly low.

Is there a way to avoid these faulty readings?

Kind regards

Joakim

Calorie burn should be based on heart rate, not paying attention to steps.

One can't really judge your case more without detailed looking at your stats, maybe comparing calorie burn to heart rate while on cycle, and compared to time with similar heart rate not on cycle.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
