I'm afraid you can't. Although this was possible on earlier Versa models, the feature was not included with the Versa 3. See the following help article:

The music app was the best feature on the Ionic and Versa 2.  I consider the Versa 3 to be defective without it. I’ll be returning mine.

I will return my Versa 3 watch. I think you forget one of the most important think a on smartwatch: CONTROL THE MUSIC.

A 20$ cheap watch can do this!!!

This is a Joke

Hi Steve, I’m incredibly disappointed by this. I’ve just had to ditch my Ionic because of the recall and thought that the Versa 3 could accept personal music. I can’t believe that in a top end watch like the Sense and Versa that we can’t have built-in GPS and load our own playlists. Being forced to subscribe to a music app is not a great marketing ploy in my mind. I’m not sure what to do now. I feel betrayed by fitbit after several years of use and watches. Disappointed!

Why would Fitbit make a “smart” watch that can’t download music? So my watch has a GPS but I have to bring my phone if I want music? The whole point is to be able to leave the phone at home. It worked fine for the Ionic…

I SO agree.  I took back my Versa 3, and bought the Versa 2.
