@Nhile, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa 2 since the screen wen black and won't turn on. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

Finally, charge your watch for 2-3 hours and see if it comes back to life.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I have the same issue - and when I called they are going to send a new unit.  My issue is that the warranty does not restart, and this is not the first time I have had a fitbit that just stops working while under warranty.  My Versa 2 is less than 2 months old, and it already died?  And now I have to be without one for 10 days? there was no explanation given  why my unit just died. Now I only get a 10 month warranty.  They are only sending the actual watch - not a new charger or band.  If my charger doesn't work, I will have to wait for another 10 days.  Bad customer service.
