My Fitbit versa that I got Christmas 2018 so only a little over a year old isn’t charging, I have brought another charger from amazon and it’s still not charging, I had this with another Fitbit that was 14 months old so I got the versa I wasn’t expecting it to happen again not with the price of them,
it was working fine up until the battery ran out completely
I’ve been trying for 36 hrs now

Hi, @SuziHill78 , sometimes when the battery dies completely a Fitbit becomes totally unresponsive, so it may be charging, but not showing that it is charging. Sometimes a restart can bring it back to life.
To restart your Versa please press and hold the back and bottom button. You may need to hold it for much longer than the recommended 10 seconds if it has become completely unresponsive (30 secs or even more), and you may need to try this several times. Hopefully this will work for you!
Generally speaking it is not a good idea to let the battery die completely. Wherever possible keep the device between about 30-80% charged for longest battery life. Little and often is the key, such as when you are showering in the morning, or perhaps when you are relaxing watching television or reading.
Let us know if the restart does the trick. Good luck, and welcome to the forums!

Hi, @Logiebear , can you give us some more details? Do you have a Versa or a Versa Lite or Versa 2? Did your battery die completely? Have you tried to charge it for at least two hours using a wall charger and the USB cable that came with your Fitbit?

Hi, @Logiebear , excellent news!
It is amazing how many problems a simple restart can solve. But it is better to keep your Fitbit regularly topped up with charge. All rechargeable batteries have a limited life span, but yours will almost certainly last longer if you avoid (whenever possible) really deep discharges.
