Hi,

 

I completed a 6.3km walk this morning. My steps were just over 8k when removing my watch to shower and when I put my watch back on my steps were reading 6.5k. My kms for the day have not changed. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

I’m sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa 2. Thank you for the information provided.

 

Manually logged activities like driving can overwrite the steps registered by your Watch. If your Watch synced while you were getting a shower this could have caused your steps getting reduced.

 

If this is not the case, please restart your Watch by following these steps and give it another try.
