Hi,
I have been having serious challenges with my fitbit right from the day I bought it, in May 2019 in NJ, USA. Within a few months, the charger conked off and I had a replacement sent to me by customer service. And mid-2020 to end-2020, both the original and replacement straps that came with the product broke off completely (is it the heat? I live in India whereas I bought it at NJ while on vacation). And to top it all, this month the fitbit stopped syncing with the app. After a lot of back and forth with customer support, the screen is frozen on the initial message in multiple languages that asks you to get started by downloading the fitbit app !! I have tried all the steps suggested by customer support, but nothing is helping. Before I got this frozen message, I also tried syncing with two other android phones(OnePlus and samsung), but the fitbit wouldn't get sensed at all. However with the same phones I am able to sense and set up my wife's fitbit, also a versa 2.
Customer service offered to replace the product but as soon as they heard my location is India, somehow they turned down the offer and said they can't do anything with the product.
Even if it cannot be replaced, a remedy where I could get it repaired also could help. It has been exasperating to have every part of the fitbit conk off till now and it is an expensive 200dollars down the drain !!
Have you guys had similar experiences with versa 2? Have you had it replaced by fitbit if it is reported within 2 years of purchase? Any suggestions?

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Sundar1811.
Thank you for the information provided and for the time you spent trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2.
Currently, there is no Reparation Center to repair Fitbit products and the Fitbit Warranty states "Fitbit warrants to the original purchaser that your Fitbit-branded device and accessories that are new (the "New Product(s)") shall be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase, except that if you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) and you purchased your Fitbit product in the EEA, the warranty period is two (2) years from the date of purchase (the "New Product Warranty Period").".
Our team is constantly working to improve our products and services. The feedback from Fitbit users is highly appreciated.
See you around.
