The usual things to try when you get syncing issues are:

A lot of smart watches are not syncing lately. For example, mine started rnot syncing right after I updated the last time. I did a search on the forums and was very surprised at how many people also had the problem whether they had a charge or a versa or an inspire or something I'm not remembering.

None of this resolves the problem. Now my phone won't even pair with my versa, though it connects with every other device I have via bluetooth.

 

This is my 7th fitbit and I know the drill on how to resolve syncing issues. I have gone through the entire scenario multiple times over the past 2 days and still no luck. Come on fitbit, can you please acknowledge the issue?

There does seem to always be an increase in syncing issues following an update to the app or firmware but, strangely, it doesn't seem to affect everyone. Restarting the fitbit seems to have the best chance of a quick fix as far as I can tell.

It really gets old dealing with a company that has released so many products and so many software updates and still cannot figure out how to get it right. Between that, and the devices lasting 13-15 months on a 12 month warranty, it is a complete joke. Yet, here I am still using it. Next one will be a Garmin. I'm done.

 

BTW, uninstalled app, restarted phone, reinstalled app and go **ahem** to sync. Is that really necessary every time fitbit does an app update? Yeah, I'm a bit sick of the horrible customer support.

Fingers crossed but mine is now syncing fine. I lost 2 nights of sleep data, but at least it synced the rest of the data.
