I have tried everything - updating software, turning off Blue tooth, restarting Versa and it is still not syncing. The biggest mistake is getting a Fitbit if I had known I would have bought the Apple I watch. For less than a couple of hundred more, far more reliable than the Versa.

Do you tried hard reset?
Hold all buttons, wait for logo appear, wait logo appear second time and release right bottom button.
Versa vibrate a little means hard reset.
You need to try few times hard to find valid release time.

I'm having the same issue. Customer support does not help. I tried everything they suggested and at the end they could not help. I can't believe how Fitbit can do this to their customers. The versa is useless.

There is a security feature in Versa, if you change account but you dont unpair with old account Versa not sync not working.

I am having the same issue. The Bluetooth connectivity keeps dropping from time to time. It keeps changing from connected to not connected within seconds. I have tried all resets but still the same. Not sure if it’s a Versa issue or something to do with the Fitbit app.

I tried that and it still doesnt work. It was working for about 2 weeks then it stopped. Thanks for your help though. I wish Fitbit would do something to help.

Same issue here, syncing fine for 2 days, then nothing will get the watch to sync with my phone (reset both devices), even the bluetooth pairing of Apple Airpods is going off and on so looks like it's an issue with the device.
When it works it's great, though it is SO buggy it's unreal.

I have this issue very often! At least once a week.
Normally the following works:
-turn off and back on Bluetooth and/or
-restart watch
But this weekend I had to do this multiple times... NOTHING
ended up uninstalling the app, reconnecting the watch to the app... Twice and reconnecting the watch kept failing and failing and failing! Absolutely ridiculous.
Moreover, activity is not being tracked correctly:
During bike rides it can't connect to GPS so distance is 0 and I am not able to edit anything afterwards!
Why did I spend so much money if I end up logging the activities manually anyways. There are dozens of free apps where I can do that.
This thing is so unreliable you are better off getting a 20$ step counter, a random food/exercise log app that approximate your cals.
Setting daily goals is a good way to create new habits and get healthier but if you 'fail' those goals because the tech does not work... the frustration is not worth it.

And why show my Heart Rate when lay on desk or while charging?
