When I first got my Versa I’m sure it would recognize that I’d been out on a bike ride - I’d get a message. This doesn’t happen anymore. It doesn’t recognize any exercise I do unless I enter it in. And the choice of exercise I find limited. I would like it to differentiate between if I’m doing a time trial vs just out for a bike ride but it does not. Not sure if this is the place to post this. Hope so.

Welcome to the Fitbit Community @Hussmo. Sorry for the delayed response.
I regret to hear that your Fitbit Versa is no longer recognizing you had been out on a bike ride. Thank you for your feedback about having an option to differentiate between a time trial vs going out for a bike ride.
Please make sure that your bike ride lasts longer than what you set on your Fitbit account. You can check out the auto-recognize setting if you go online to fitbit.com > Settings > Devices > Auto-Exercise Recognition. If everything is set correctly, please perform a restart to your watch by following these steps.
You are welcome to share your idea about improving the choice of exercise in the Feature Suggestions board. This is constantly monitored by the engineering team for further implementations. Once any update be available, it will be communicated as soon as possible.
If you have any question, please don't hesitate to contact us back.
