My Versa stopped receiving calls and texts. I did the update and now it's not syncing to my phone. I can't get it to do anything. It's telling me to download the Fitbit app. across the face of it.

@Patyk, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it stopped receiving call/text notifications.
Please try setting up you Versa from scratch as described in this help article. After this, set up the notifications feature and see if the issue gets fixed.
