After working well for 18 months , my versa now constantly fails to sync to my iphone and even worse  - loses about 5 minutes an hour in time.... how can a watch lose time?  I have tried everything suggested in all the other relevant threads, restarting , repairing bluetooth etc etc and nothing will fix it.  Help......

A watch should not lose time, regardless of the sync problem.

Seems like this is quite a common issue. following the recent updates, as it was working fine before.

In which case its probably best to inform Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
