I bought my Fitbit versa and the extra warranty because I had issues with my 2 previous fitbits. About a month ago, my watch got really hot and actually burned my skin on the wrist. I removed it and left if overnight thinking it was overheating. I charged it the next day because it was off and it never came back on. I tried looking everywhere for my extended warranty info to no avail. I tried charging the watch again, it came back on but drops bluetooth constantly and wifi and the heartrate doesn't work either. Because it wont sync correctly, the time is off. Reading thru forums, I saw the heartrate and movement is calculated thru the LEDs..guess what, those don't work either, just a red light shines through on the center left sensor of the four. What gives? Is this watch done and how do I get a replacement under my warranty?

@BookerDishes welcome to our Fitbit Community! Since you mentioned that your Versa got hot a month ago, I would like to know if the issue happened again on the days after. I appreciate the steps you tried before contacting our forums.
Regarding the syncing issues, I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.
In case the issue persists, we will be happy to follow up accordingly and review the warranty process.
Keep me posted on the outcome! 😀
