My Versa won't sync

My versa hasn't been syncing for a week. 

I contacted CS and I have followed every guide (from restarting, deleting and re installing the app, to updating phone, etc.) but with no luck. 
Two days ago I decided to delete the device, proceed with factory reset and set it up again. 
My Versa and my Android were paired but it won't sync and it has a notification for a firmware update (tracker software update) however, when I press start and it starts searching for my Versa, it won't find it. I have tried to complete this both via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.

Any advise me to what I need to do in order to be able to use my watch again?

I’ve had same issue ever since I updated my iPhone to latest OS 14.5. My versa2 has not been recognized on blue tooth or synced

Hi there, 

Same here, won't recognise Bluetooth and it won't sync despite my efforts on resolving this, it must be some sort of bug. 
Have you contacted the Fitbit support team? If so how did they guide on what to do? 
It's so frustrating to not be able to use my fitbit!

Hey my Fitbit versa isn’t even 2yrs old yet. I’m having the same trouble too. Is your time on watch very very slow. Tonight my watch said 10:15pm when my phone clearly the correct time stated 11pm.. I’m honestly fed up of it not syncing.. I had to try and sync daily once took over 10+ attempts.

I’ve got a reference number. So looks like I’ll be getting in touch with CS again in the morning. If they don’t solve the problem then looks like I’ll be leaving Fitbit and joining the Apple bandwagon.. I’ve had no problems with my Fitbit Alta.. and the one before that I had lost so ended up getting the Alta and I upgraded to versa Xmas 2019

Hey,

Thank you for getting in touch and sharing your experience. 
My time on watch is a couple of hours behind, we all face the same issues, therefore it must be a bug that they need to fix. 
I cannot tell you how many times I have tried to sync it on a daily basis..I'm fed up with this situation.
What did CS tell you?

Well I got fed up with it late last night I told phone to forget the watch. Had a right carry on and eventually I managed to sync it back early this morning. I shut the watch down time was 1hr slow I kept syncing but will get in touch with CS sometime today got to do some errands while he’s off work. My day isn’t going to plan.. try shutting the watch off and sync a couple of times

I'm sorry to hear about your struggle with your watch, I know how frustrating this is. 
Glad to hear that you managed to sync it this morning, that's a positive step!
I left mine to run out of battery and this morning I tried charging and syncing at the same time and somehow it synced 10 minutes ago. The notification for firmware update disappeared while I haven't done anything. 
I haven't heard from CS since Friday but I really hope that they fixed the bug and hopefully your watch will be fixed soon!

Was last week, when I contacted CS but I made sure everything was up to date. App, software and iOS as well.. yep must be a big and they really do need to sort it out! It’s highly annoying having to try and sync before I had to go to work. Switching it off for 10 secs etc 🤞🏼 We get bug fix soon

Hi finally rang customer service up.. I give them my ref number.. I had two choices one was factory reset I said no I’m not doing that, I’ve already did that. Also the step by step guide to syncing and nothing.. the other alternative was a replacement. So I’m getting a replacement versa lite once they have received mine in the post. Hopefully this helps you. I would definitely contact them. The more that does this the more the issue of the bug will get sorted out

I did factory reset and now it doesn’t even recognise my device. I got in touch with them and they cannot fix it so they recommended me to get a new device, which seems like the only option. 
Hope you adore your new Lite and hopefully no more issues for all of us x

That’s absolutely outrageous.. we’ll I haven’t got it yet.. when I factory reset mine it took forever to finally sync a even put it in the slip outside of mine.. I would of said no I’m not buying a new one when it’s Fitbit’s problem.. I’m livid for you!!

Unfortunately I got my Fitbit back in 2016 so a replacement is not an option..( I have the Versa).
Getting a new device is not the best outcome but I don't think I have any other options really 😕

Ah not good. Well apparently they sending out my replacement 4-5 working day’s excluding weekend’s.. I like the look of the sense Fitbit (to control stress, I work in a supermarket) but I do when it arrives have the versa lite in mulberry. Fingers crossed on your new one. I’ve been there when I had to buy the Alta after loosing my 1st one

Yep I cannot update my Versa and have tried every trick/solution that has been offered but to no avail.  It's now 5:39pm EST and my Versa shows 3:19am.  Sick of CS just fluffing off the issue and apparently don't give a hoot.  I have done 10+ restarts myself and will throw the thing away.  APPLE bound.  Loved my original Fitbit and this Versa but this is a joke, waste of time and DARN frustrating !!!!!

yes, same issue.  my Apple iPhone says that it is 10:07 PM and my watch says that it is 10:03 PM.  it takes forever to sync and syncs like maybe once a day or not even every day, like every other day.

As soon as you get used to Fitbit and it's specs it becomes part of your life so it's really frustrating when things don't work.. The sense would be great to control your stress levels!

To this day my watch has not synced, I tried everything from numerous restarts, deleting the app and re-downloading and even factory reset.. I am so sorry to hear that you've been struggling with the sync issues too! 
I actually just thinking of selling my versa (as used and with issues) for any brave one on ebay and just get either a new one or an apple one!
