My experience with Fitbit Versa

Im very frustrated that I have been a loyal customer, and when my versa started having a continuous red light, stopped tracking steps, HR, sleep and hourly movement I contacted customer service and was told due to it being out of warranty I would be given the option to purchase another with only a small discount. I have been loyal to you yet as a customer I basically get a brush off to a problem that while I look through the community seems to be a problem a lot of others are experiencing. I treat my Fitbit with great care. I don’t wear it while washing showering or other activities. This doesn’t seem like a problem your customers created, but rather an problem in fit bits mechanics and wiring. Yes, I did take advantage of the discount as I am trying to lead a healthier lifestyle, but **ahem** Fitbit you know times are tough, this will be the last investment I will make with you. You should show some customer loyalty. I am 52 years old and work in a hospital, I don’t really have 150.00 to shell out for a new watch when obviously this is a Fitbit problem that isn’t created by its users. Do better so I can be better. You disappoint me Fitbit you really do.

Thank you for your reply. My main question is what happened within multiple Fitbits that made the constant red light/battery drain and subsequent break down of these smartwatches? This seems like a bigger issue and I would like to know the reason, and is there a fix so if this happens with my new watch I won’t have to shell out more money for another watch. Again, these watches are an investment, not a cheap throw away gadget. Looking at multiple sights I know this is a Large problem.
