My experience with Versa 2 and Customer Service

I updated my versa 2 2 weeks ago to the Google account etc and since then my watch screen is unresponsive, it's not bright, won't sync, no notifications. I did the reinstatement, I changed faces... everything. I contacted Fitbit, they've apologised and offered 35% off a new device but my watch was only 2.6yrs old. I feel they've done this to get more sales and to get rid of the old watches. I'm really upset.

Hi there, @Keeleyharvit. Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2. We‘re taking into consideration your comments and sentiments with regards to our products and services.

Thanks for your question about why we offered a discount towards a new Fitbit product instead of a replacement of your existing Fitbit product. Our limited warranty provides repair or replacement of products that have a defect while still in the warranty period. Since your device was out of the warranty period, and therefore was not eligible for repair or replacement, we wanted to offer you a discount to thank you for your loyalty to Fitbit.

For more information about our warranty, see fitbit.com/legal/returns-and-warranty or please feel free to contact our team back so they can clarify any doubt.

Thank you for your reply. I'm upset as my device seemed to stop working
after the new update and Google account was upgraded on my phone.

I had exact same, watch stopped giving me sleep score or stress management was told to factory reset then update and now it does nothing but tell the time. Doesn't track steps, heart rate or anything else. Like you was offered 35% off next watch but I've been through 3 watches in 4 years so think time to change from Fitbit to another smart watch provider.

I'm glad you told me this. They said it must be just my watch!

I have the same problem with my versa 2 and it is less than a year old. I am thoroughly disgusted with fitbit and looking at getting a Samsung watch.

Lost all the data when I moved to Google yesterday. Not happy.
