My versa 2 counted steps while asleep

Hi, wondering if someone can help I got my versa 2 as a Christmas present but only recently use it. (First day being yesterday) I've woke up this morning and it's saying I've walked 3648 steps already and I'm not even out of bed 🙄 can someone help me with what to do now. Many thanks 😊

Hi @Coconut5, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

 

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since it counted steps when you were actually asleep.

 

Please restart your Versa 2 as described in this help article. After this, check out this help page which explains why your Fitbit device may track extra steps.

 

Finally, monitor your watch for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
