Versa 2 screen unresponsive

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I’ve had my Versa 2 for a few months and the screen has become unresponsive about half of the time—display won’t turn on or won’t respond to touch. I’ve reset it several times and have disconnected/reconnected to my phone, and no luck. I’ve seen others with similar problems but never seen any resolution. Any recommendations?

Hi @Charity.Norman, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

Regarding the screen issues that your Versa 2 has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • Set up your watch from scratch
  • Finally, monitor your Versa 2 screen and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
