Received a new versa lite from Fitbit support 12/19/20. Watch performed an update when activated.
Versa lite version (per device settings) 38.33.1.30
iphone app says versa lite version is 33.1.30
under help & support in iPhone app, says Fitbit 3.36 (1013).
checking for update through iPhone app, says versa lite is up to date, though I’ve seen later versions on the Fitbit web site.
have removed Fitbit device from iPhone app and re-added.
when looking at apps & clock faces in iPhone app, notice is posted in a pink box that Fitbit device and iPhone app must be updated before app/clock face can be installed.
this device arrived with apps already installed: 2048 and strava.
ALSO, looked up versa lite manual online, p. 18 discusses sleep mode. I followed the manual directions to schedule sleep mode on the device but when I go to Settings on the device there is no sleep mode option. When I swipe down from the top of the watch face there are only notifications, not quick settings.
the versa lite manual describes many features I can’t access using my device. Why is this happening????!!?!!?
I feel like I am going insane. Someone please help.

Hi there @Aroger3, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your new Versa Lite and for trying to troubleshoot it before reaching out. We acknowledge the limitation we have on our part particularly on what you have experienced.
Since you have just setup your Versa Lite it may appear up to date but it needs another update. The latest update isn't available until up to 48 hours after setup. In the image your Versa Lite shows version 33.1.30 but the latest one is 71.6.19. For more information, see What's changed in the latest Fitbit device update?
As for the sleep mode, please wait until your watch is updated to the version mentioned above. Once so, please swipe down from the top of your screen. After your notifications appear, swipe down again to open the control center. Tap the quick settings icon and turn on/off Sleep Mode. For more information, see How do I navigate my Fitbit device?
Please keep me posted if after 48 hours you're still not receiving the most recent version of your watch.
