Me too!! More difficult to visually find the information/data. I’m looking for. Not easy to navigate/change. Example I’m trying to change the focus this morning because I’m not liking how it’s set up… And can’t find a way to visually change it in a way that works for me. Not happy at all with this new app/look.
I can’t find where you turn off the background light or how do you change the background picture? Were did all the setting go. I am confused now
@Sherryshampoo On the top left, you would click the icon of the phone/watch. Then click your Fitbit model. Then click gallery, to change clock faces. Pretty much nothing changed there. What's this background light you mentioned?
I don't like it either. I haven't liked Fitbit since they stopped challenges. But, I did buy a new Versa 2 a few months ago anyway. It's a lemon. Doesn't track floors. Also, since signing in with Google. I've lost access to my friends.
There is absolutely nothing better about Fitbit trackers/watches and the Fitbit and Google apps than the generic ones from Amazon.
When it's time to replace my watch. I will not go with Fitbit / Google.

Probably best to post in "The redesigned Fitbit app is rolling out!" topics in the iOS and Android app forums along with the other unhappy users where you will see more fully the issues.
It would seem likely you are stuck with this version.

I hate it, too. It's bland, colorless, and devoid of any motivating features, plus they removed the battery icon showing how much life the battery still has. Nice of them to gather opinions from their users before completely overhauling an interface that was working just great. I'm probably going to look for a different tracker brand when my Luxe dies.
