New sleep analytics update AWFUL

I absolutely LOATHE the new update for sleep tracking/ analytics. It is difficult to read , and doesn’t show non sleep intervals. Bring back the previous version PLEASE! Why fix something that wasn’t broken in the first place.

I agree totally I think they may have done this to force everyone to up grade and have to pay for a good sleep app.

Best Answer

Totally agree. This is a downgrade from what I had when I purchased the device. Must be restored.

Best Answer

Agree I hate it!

Best Answer

I agree completely!  There was nothing wrong with the way it was and they should at least allow us to change it back if we wanted to!

I’m glad it’s not just me. The update is truly dreadful

why didn’t we get an option on this change

Best Answer

Right there with ya- it Sucks!!! I don’t think I’ve ever seen an update that makes my information LESS than it was before.

Best Answer

I agree with everyone. Put it back like it was. All the info I needed was right there at a glance. This update makes me not want to check it.

Best Answer

I depend on a valid sleep tracker. This change is NOT an improvement. If I have a break in sleep time it only records the latter sleep and I can’t edit it because it says there is already a sleep log for that period when there is not. Please either fix it or delete this update and revert to the original. Soon! I was going to upgrade my Versa 2, but at this point my upgrade may be to a different manufacturer.

Glad to see others hate the new sleep tracker. No longer see benchmark or oxygen graph!!’

PLEASE GO BACK TO THE OLD TRACKER! This one is useless. Thank you!

It's absolutely awful!

Plus since the update, it's not tracking my sleep properly at all. It's not picking up when I'm awake/sleep, seems to be giving random sleep patterns. I'm also not getting rem/deep sleep.

This makes me fitbit pointless for me as it's the sleep tracker I primarily use it for.

I started using Fitbit specifically for the sleep tracking which I thought was above all others. The new update as noted by many others is terrible. It does not even track and add naps anymore. I like to nap over weekends to make up my sleep deficit. Please bring back the previous one. This is really BAD visually as well as functionally!

Hate the new update. Please bring back the old one. I get nothing out of this. That's not user friendly at all. I will probably go a different routeSent from my Verizon, Samsung Galaxy smartphone

I also dislike the new format. Not being able to see the oxygen variation is really a bummer as I always check that reading. I wonder if they want us to upgrade to newer models? Anyway, ugh

If you are thinking about a new watch maybe you should look at a different
manufacturer.
Best Answer

Maybe I should.

Agreed here too.   I knew I wouldn't be alone in disliking it so much!

Best Answer

Completely agree. The new update is completely INACCESSIBLE if you have any visual issues. The old layout was really clean, simple and clear. The new one has awful colours that can’t easily be differentiated, the actual layout has too many thin lines and the whole thing is absolutely horrible.

And as if that was bad enough, as of today mine has stopped giving sleep stages. The whole thing was brilliant and now it’s a heap of 💩

Yep, the new sleep tracking is horrible. Not only difficult to read but when I have to adjust the sleep times as I routinely did previously, the procedure is cumbersome.  In addition, after I input the correct times, some random sleep range appears (wasn’t there before) which cannot be deleted. I agree that it is really ridiculous to change something that worked perfectly well before. Obviously, many agree with this point as shown by the numerous replies in agreement with your post. Hopefully, someone with Fitbit, Google or whomever is paying attention.

Agree 100%.
