From the introduction of Sleep Score/Sleep Stages I am unable to get a proper reading on different devices I have had. Maybe once every two months it appears in my app and now having a Versa 2 nothing changed. Of course I have tried these suggestions first link 1 and link 2
But two weeks ago I started using a skin care ointment for a small 'sweat rash' and by accident I rubbed some of the ointment on my wrist, on the spot I wear my Versa 2. The next morning I was surprised seeing a Sleep Score. From then I started using the skin care *ointment (not a cream or gel, ointments have a higher concentration of oil) daily also on my wrist before I go to sleep and till today I see my Sleep Score (for two weeks in a row).
I was the only case Fitbit support received that is like this, so now I am very curious if this solution may help other users to get a Sleep Score. So if you are willing to try it out and mention the results here this would be great!
*Due to the use of an ointment, product care is extra important so take a look at the Fitbit product care guide: Wear & Care

What kind of skin care ointment are you using? I need to look into this as I get a rash too, and maybe it will help with my not tracking sleep.

Hi @duhawkin , I wasn't allowed to mention a brand name (my topic was marked as spam at first). But Google will find a lot of options when you do a search on 'skin care ointment'.

I am afraid I am back to square one, recording Sleep Scores are back to twice a week max. I just don't understand why or what I am doing wrong here...

I have the new Versa 3 and after sleep only scoring a very small portion of my night sleep and it only showing about 2 hours worth of data, I followed this post and before I went to bed last night a put some Lotion on my wrist/arm and low and behold in the morning it registered readings for the entire time I was a sleep. Not sure why, but it works with some lotion on your wrist. I had bought the Versa 3 because of having sleep issues and also the SP02 readout, generally because of health issues, now just have to figure out why the SP02 readings are not being included. Thanks for the post and the advice.
