No display on Versa. Need help restarting.

My Versa has no display this morning. On the back there is a green light that occasionally flashes on the second bar from the left.  That bar seems cloudy on the inside, which I never noticed before. The troubleshooting guide says to press and hold the back and bottom buttons to restart the Versa.  My Versa has no back or bottom buttons. There is a button on the left and two buttons on the right.

So how do I restart the Versa?

Hello @SherryWhite, it's good to see you around in the forums, welcome.

Thank you for the information about he screen being completely black and confirming that you already tried to restart your watch.

The back button of the Versa would be the one that is to the left side of the watch and in the opposite side you will see two other buttons, "Up" and "Down" . Before considering other options, make sure to try the steps listed here below to complete the restart procedure:

  1. Press and hold the back and bottom button until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. For Fitbit Versa Lite Edition, hold the back button for 10 seconds.
  2. Let go of the buttons.
  3. If you still have issues with your device, turn it off and turn it back on. For more information, see How do I turn off my Fitbit device?

Please keep me posted on the outcome.

Thanks for taking on my problem.

I attempted to restart my Versa by holding the two buttons as you instructed.

There is no response by the Fitbit. The screen remains black.

Since the device is dead I cannot turn it off as the instructions suggest.

Any other ideas?
